PTP operates at Bewl Water, one of the South East’s largest and most scenic reservoirs, offering high-quality paddlesports, equipment hire, and guided on-water experiences in a stunning natural setting.We provide kayak, canoe, and paddle board hire, allowing individuals, families, and groups to explore the reservoir at their own pace.
All hire sessions are supported by clear safety briefings and experienced staff, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.Alongside hire, we deliver coached sessions, and skills.

The Stand Up Paddleboard Sheltered Water Award builds your ability to plan and enjoy safe SUP journeys on sheltered water, up to 200 metres from shore and in winds up to force 3. You’ll learn how to assess weather, wind, water conditions, and local restrictions, and how to select appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable time on the water.

The Progressive Canoe Award builds on your existing canoe skills, supporting longer and more demanding journeys on sheltered and slow-moving water. You’ll develop stronger decision-making around conditions, route choice, and equipment, while improving efficiency, confidence, and safety as a paddler.
